The second most asked question I get is why I spent good gold on a focus item that some consider being mediocre (see the buy offer here). Various theories have been voiced, and while only one individual figured it out so far, I wanted to at least give you a general direction.

First and foremost, I use it in PvE. I can see the line of thought of some players that suggested it might be used in player battles, but I actually don't enjoy PvP that much. In addition, I am not typically in the business of boosting my spending above my earnings. I do not use it all the time, but I certainly carry it with my on a regular basis, it is just too easy a method for making gold in Guild Wars.
