I am a big fan of digital e-mail signatures and encryption. As a matter of fact, all e-mails I send are digitally signed (and encrypted if a certificate of the recipient is available). Thawte offers e-mail certificates for free, and setting up your e-mail client is typically completed in a matter of minutes.
